Gezeigt in Byron Bay (Underground Film Festival) AUS, Vancouver Independent Film Festival CAN, Big Sur Independent Film Festival USA, Lundäng International Film Festival SWE.

How would you draw yourself as a fish?

This is not a rhetorical question. To think about offers an opportunity of transformation, of escape in a way too. While sea levels continue to rise, humankind is de-evolving. The short movie “How to draw yourself as a fish” (8’28“) is about how to draw yourself into your future. Inspired by a manual written by Sibylle Ciarloni, writer & artist, San Costanzo, Berlin, Zurich. In collaboration with Rahel Kraft, sound artist & composer, Vienna, Basel. Shown in Byron Bay (Underground Film Festival) AUS, Vancouver Independent Film Festival CAN, Big Sur Independent Film Festival USA, Lundäng International Film Festival SWE.

Nothing is a secret anymore. Humankind’s DNA has been decrypted. Our ancestors were fish who developed lungs and feet to come ashore. The rest is known.
It is also known that sea levels are rising and that some of the reasons why are connected to our lifestyle. Unconsciously, or consciously, most of humankind is not acting to reduce their environmental impacts. Sibylle Ciarloni’s vision is humanity’s de-volution, back to the original state as fish. The movie offers a transformational opportunity to practice drawing yourself into your future. To change consciousness and perhaps DNA of further generations.

Invitato a Byron Bay (Underground Film Festival) AUS, Vancouver Independent Film Festival CAN, Big Sur Independent Film Festival USA, Lundäng International Film Festival SWE.
